Annual Fashion Show Is Just Around the Corner
We don’t want you to miss out on attending the 2019 “This Could Be the Start of Something New” Fashion Show in the Manor at Plantation Golf and Country Club on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
All area women are invited to attend.
Enjoy a beautiful lunch served in a garden party setting; be treated to an array of beautiful fashions from four downtown Venice businesses, and take home a part of the garden atmosphere by purchasing a fresh floral centerpiece designed by “Garden of Eden” for $50.
Tickets are still available for the luncheon and the Special, Lucky Draw and 50/50 Raffles. Call Dorothy Piteo in the PCF Office 941-497-4826 to reserve your seat and tickets. Ticket prices are $55 for Foundation Members and $60 for Non-Members.
“Bluegrass & Barbeque” ........... an event you won’t want to miss!!
The Plantation Community Foundation has added a new and exciting event to its Spring 2020 calendar with a performance by “Bluegrass Central” – one of the best bands around.
Audience members will be treated to an evening of specialized music in a casual atmosphere on the grounds of the Plantation Golf & Country Club. Reservation information will be available in early 2020.

The 2018 Impact Grant was awarded to Literacy Volunteers of South Sarasota County. President Bob Hayden and the Impact Grant Committee presented the grant check to Joe Pokorney, LVSSC President, and Claudia Daniels, grant writer and Board Member.
The award of $19,271, will be used to fund a Study-Lab Program located in the Family Services Center, North Port, FL.
The 2017 Impact Grant awarded to Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County is presented to Aimee Holmes, Chief Develpment Officer.
The Foundation has generously partnered with Habitat to lauch a new home revitalization program, A Brush with Kindness. The award of $16,000, along with paint donated by Sherwin Williams, will be used to paint one home per month for a qualified homeowner.
