We have FUN fundraising dollars: Each year we have wonderful fundraising events....the November "Fun" Raiser Party, the Pro-Am Golf Event, and a fabulous Spring Fashion Show, and this season a Bluegrass & BBQ festival! Our members volunteer prior to our events. It is a great way to meet other members and make new friends.
Special pricing for members: PCF members enjoy a discount when signing up for our fundraising events. We appreciate their involvement. Membership and involvement make our Mission possible.
Improve your local community: Each year we fund approximately 50 grants, which cover a wide range of concerns. The Foundation's by-laws specify that grants will be in the following areas: Community Social Services, Health Care, Educational, Environmental and Cultural Activities.
Additionally, all dollars are spent in South Sarasota County.....our community.
We provide diligent and responsible distribution of donated dollars: Our 12 member Grant Committee meets January through March and puts each Grant request through a rigorous process. The Committee ensures that every dollar raised is well spent.
